Hey AI Explorer,

Welcome to the latest edition of your Friday newsletter “Solve with AI”.

You and I have come a long way in our short AI journey and I want to provide a quick recap.

We started our AI journey with the Solve with AI Gen AI - 7 day crash course. We solved customer research and influencer creative briefs with Gen AI. We created our AI clones and calculated the market opportunity for your company.

We amped our sales game with the Challenger Model and replaced your career coach. We predicted the Bitcoin price and automated our Gmail inbox.

Wow!

Feels like we accomplished a lot in the last 4 months.

I have truly appreciated your engagement and feedback and will continue to work hard to deliver high quality content.

I do have a request. If you know someone who can benefit from this AI content then please share this Substack with them. Think of your friends, family members, partners or colleagues.

Share Solve with AI

Why?

The more you share, the better feedback I get to write great content.

Today, I want to dive deeper on the topic of AI agents. Agents are popping everywhere and some call it GPTs or AI solutions.

I am going to stick with agents because I like it. It’s like you are hiring a special agent to get the job done. Sounds cool!

So far, I shared how you can create text based GPTs (agents) to improve your productivity.

It’s time for you to go beyond text and leverage AI voice.

Yes!

Significant advancements have been made in the AI voice space.

  1. Audio Tokenization: LLM models like GTP 3/4 are being applied to understand and predict sequences in audio data, such as speech or music. These sequences are broken down in to “audio tokens” enabling more realistic and coherent voice and music generation.

  2. Enhanced Voice Synthesis: Deep learning and machine learning tech is being used to create synthetic (artificial) voices that can replicate human speech's tone, pitch, and emotion, improving text-to-speech applications and expanding voice cloning capabilities.

  3. Personalized Conversational AI: Integration of LLMs into chatbots and voice assistants is leading to meaningful communication and better understanding of user intent through personalized responses.

  4. Semantic and Acoustic Modeling: Generative AI models are being developed to encode both semantic and acoustic information in audio data, ensuring high-quality, realistic audio generation.

  5. Natural Language Processing (NLP) Improvements: Advances in NLP are crucial for creating text-to-speech systems so it can understand and produce speech that is nearly indistinguishable from human speech.

What does this means for you and I?

For starters, it means that you can now think of the roles AI can play in your life beyond ChatGPT.

Now, there are bad actors out there who are using this technology to create fake ads. I came across this ad on YouTube promoting a fake video/audio of Michael Saylor (Ex CEO of MicroStrategy).

Saylor is an awesome and courageous leader and its sad to see how bad actors are using him for this video.

Google has finally removed the above video from YouTube after many users complained about it.

Anyways.

I want us to focus on productive side of AI voice.

Think of all possible areas where you can apply this technology.

  • Qualify inbound phone call leads

  • Respond to customer support calls

  • Book patient/customer appointments (healthcare, home services)

  • Automate scheduling meetings

  • Freeing up admin assistant time to respond to calls

  • Conduct customer surveys

  • Pre-screen candidates
