Hey AI Explorer,
Welcome back to the latest edition of your Friday newsletter “Solve with AI”.
Sorry for being late this week. It’s not Friday anymore.
We are experiencing a hurricane in our area so yesterday flew by protecting my belongings and loved ones from the storm.
These are the moments when we realize the importance of life and the meaning it brings us. A long life is not enough if it is not peaceful, happy, and healthy.
Something that Dan Buettner calls a Blue Zone. Dan has been researching the Blue Zones for years. These zones are places on the earth where people live longer and happier lives (average lifespan is 100).
Why?
As per Dan’s research people in these Blue Zones adopt a different lifestyle. Dan divides these into nine different areas a.k.a Power 9 and we will address each below.
First, let me share the list of places Dan calls the Blue Zone (in case you would like to move there :))

Dan and his team paired up with National Geographic to identify the world's longest-lived people. They used lifestyle and environment as the key criteria to determine these zones.
Here are the five spots they discovered (the USA is still on the list guys):
Barbagia region of Sardinia - Nestled in the mountainous highlands of inner Sardinia, this place boasts the world's highest concentration of male centenarians.
Ikaria, Greece - This Aegean Island has some of the world's lowest rates of middle-age mortality and dementia.
Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica - Home to the world's lowest rates of middle-age mortality and the second-highest concentration of male centenarians.
Seventh-Day Adventists - Mostly found around Loma Linda, California, these folks live 10 years longer than their North American peers.
Okinawa, Japan - The females over 70 here are the longest-lived population on the planet.
What’s interesting to me is these zones are not isolated to one region. We have Asia, NA, South America, and Europe represented. This means you don’t have to leave your region to live a better life.
In fact, today I will show you how you can replicate the same lifestyle and live in your personally created Blue Zone in your present city.
Let’s discuss the 9 lifestyle habits of these Blue Zoners.

1. Daily Physical Activity and Natural Movement
People living in these Blue Zones don’t hang out at the gym. Instead, they incorporate physical activity into their daily lives. They may either go for a long walk, do gardening, perform household chores, or stay naturally active.
You can consider adding a dash of these natural activities to your lives.
2. Find Your Purpose
Having a clear purpose or what Peter Diamandis calls Massive Transformation Purpose can add years to your life.
People in these zones know the reason they wake up in the morning.
This purpose-driven life provides them with mental and emotional well-being and the motivation for longevity.
